Resort and Private Label Program

Our company has specialized in developing original fabrics for private label programs since 1988. Many of our fabrics are still in use at name brand companies and knitting mills all over the globe.

In 1999 it was clear that our sophisiticated fabrics were being watered down by an enormous degree in order to produce great volumes of imported merchandise overseas. As fabric artists it was sad to see what was once a benchmark of high quality apparel being traded for somewhat low cost disposable clothing. Film studios, corporate gift buyers, and fine specialty store customers started contacting us directly to produce small quantities of premium quality knitwear. We discontinued our development services for other manufacturers in 1999 in order to focus on our own high-end women's apparel label - "Concetta Bruce". Our products are sold exclusively in finer specialty stores and Resorts all across America. Many are given as premium gifts from grateful companies at events and tournaments.

We are completely vertical, own all our own equipment which is state of the art technology and stock only the finest yarns available. We do not stock any finished goods. All products are made to order per our clients' individual tastes and requirements. All our fabrics are original. So, there is no danger of any client's product being "leaked" beyond our walls. Most of our fabrics are created with an intense degree of difficulty, making them extremely difficult to copy or 'knock off". Fabdesigns specializes in developing unique fabrics for Resorts, Country clubs and Luxury market clients and their discerning guests who want high quality clothing available no where else.

How it works:

1. We speak to the client's desire for conveying a particular "Brand image". We take into consideration the guests' lifestyles, the physical environment of the resort, features and characteristics of the terrain, interesting souvenier details and other aspects that are distinct to that particular ambiance of the resort.
2. Our designers create an internal story board.

   Their goal is affordable style that packs well, travels well, is comfortable and has an element of sophistication. From the beginning sketches to the finished product, they constantly have their customers in mind.

   From the slopes of Aspen to the greens of Palm Desert or a surf stroll on a cool autumn evening . . . they have a garment or accessory for almost everyone. (below is an example of the type of story board we put together for every project. Our client's own boards are confidential.)

3. We then send the client a body sized swatch of our recommended fabric for approval at a nominal cost of $100 which is later applied to their order. In actuality our cost of developing this swatch is several times more but the nominal fee sifts out the 1% of potential clients who are not honestly interested in the project and those indecisive few who want to see 24 slightly different versions of the same art work :) You know who we mean.
4. The client then selects, the silhouettes and the colors.*

7.The product is then made to order and delivered in 30 to 45 days from approval - most times sooner.

Reorders are our pleasure and the highest compliment we frequently enjoy. Prices are very reasonable, priced the same as our designer collection silhouettes. Minimums are a very easy 18 pieces per style and color - in what ever size arrangement you desire. (Minimums for our collection are 3 pieces per color and style)
